On Tuesday night, Louis Vuitton transported by boat a bevvy of fashionistas to Marine Stadium for a men’s show capped off by a choreographed drone light show and fireworks to honor visionary designer Virgil Abiloh, who recently died of cancer at age 41. Also at the event: Camila Cabello, who marked the occasion with an Instagram post, and Peter Tunney. And just down the street in Wynwood, Goldman Global Arts CEO Jessica Goldman Srebnick celebrated 13 new installations - murals and sculptures - featuring artists such as AIKO, Addfuel, Bordalo ii, David Flores and Scott Froscheuer. Across the street, Rubell Museum opened its doors for a VIP preview where art observers included Claudia Potamkin, Fabian Besabe, art collector Kathryn Mikesell and artist Natalie Ball from Southern Oregon’s Klamath Tribes. Outside sipping and sauntering were Yolanda and Jeff Berkowitz, Guerdy Abraira, Ariel and Jeremy Milgroom, Jenni and Josh Coba, the Design District’s Sandra Santiago, Jolie Balido, Maya Ezrati and Jillian Jacobson. There, the design house unveiled its Medallion chair in a showroom illuminated a highly artistic seating ensemble, with furniture perched on pedestals. In Allahpattah, meanwhile, the stylish crowds were mingling outside Dior. For Phaidon Books’ “Women Made” and honoring Solange Knowles, guests included Sam Keller, Domenico De Sole, Elle MacPherson, Sarah Harrelson, Sarah Arison, Eddie and Kinga Lampert, George Hamilton, Ambassador Paul Cejas and Trudy Cejas, Marvin Ross Friedman and Adrienne bon Haes and Monica Kalpakian. Monday night’s most exclusive soiree was the Christie’s party at the residence of Craig Robins and Jackie Soffer.

Miami Art Week drew crowds, starting last Monday as the collectors and the cultured browsed the fairs and paraded the festivities.
